Note 2: cooling system
Antifreeze must be used in winter, especially in the cold weather in the north. The temperature is below zero most of the time. If the engine cooling system is ordinary water, it is easy to form ice, which is not conducive to the start of the car, and it will almost cause serious damage to the engine. According to statistics, the failure of the cooling system is the number one killer of engine failure, accounting for 60% of the total engine failure Right! So the use of antifreeze in winter can effectively prevent the occurrence of freezing events in the cooling system. So don't forget to check the antifreeze in winter. Generally speaking, it is recommended that antifreeze be changed every two years. However, if you have ever added ordinary water into the antifreeze, the antifreeze change cycle should be earlier. Pay attention to the color of the antifreeze when changing. Different colors cannot be mixed.
As far as the selection of antifreeze is concerned, the lower the freezing point, the stronger the antifreeze will undoubtedly be. At present, the freezing point of antifreeze in the market has several specifications, such as - 15 ℃, - 25 ℃, - 30 ℃, - 40 ℃. The selected freezing point should be more than 10 ℃ lower than the lowest temperature in the region.

However, before the cold season, the battery terminals should also be cleaned and coated with special grease for protection to ensure reliable start-up and extend battery life.
